TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
